LSI was founded in 1987, as an Independent Component Distributor specializing in sales of AMD products. By 1999 LSI was stocking a broad line of components, active, passive and interconnect. Sperry was acquired in 2001 to incorporate further reaching capacities in our service to our customers. Sperry Corporation, a name synonymous with the defense industry, has been supplying specialty components for many years. In addition to providing military components, it's ability for testing and up-screening is unparalleled.
LSI / Sperry specializes in the supply of military, obsolete, long lead time, discontinued components, diminished source items, and in the supply of AMD components. In recent years, the company has added many other manufacturers to it's product line including Motorola, National Semiconductor, Signetics, Texas Instruments, and Fairchild. LSI / Sperry also stocks passive and interconnect components from AMP, Bendix, ITT Cannon, Allen Bradley, Dale and more.
LSI / Sperry has worldwide stocking and shipping centers positioned in the USA, Europe, Singapore, Australia, and Japan. LSI /Sperry is dedicated to the supply and sourcing of integrated circuits from over fifty manufacturers. LSI / Sperry stock centers reside in Asia, Europe and the USA having a combined stock area of over 45,000 square feet filled with new, obsolete surplus components.
LSI / Sperry corporate sales offices for the USA and Europe are located in Los Angeles, California, USA and Hampshire, England respectively.
The company has also built up a specialty of upgrading commercial products to industrial and military specifications. Screening and re-Certification or building custom ASIC products to a customers requirements.
Our testing labs are ISO 9000 compliant, and certifications are available when re-screening or upgrades are required. The company currently uses MIL-I-45208A for Quality Control and is continuing to develop a quality manufacturing and distribution capability.
